Monastic activity
Besides the service programme, the nuns also develop activities in the painting and sewing workshops of the monastery, where wooden icons are painted in the Byzantine style, with gold foil, eggs are dyed (and put at the visitors’ disposal in the monastery’s stand) and the monastic uniform is made (only for the monastery’s personnel).
The monastery owns 25 ha of arable land, a 3 ha orchard, a vegetable garden, a household annex with birds and animals which provide the necessary food products for the eating hall.
